Epidemiology

Epidemiology is concerned with the incidence, distribution, and possible control of diseases and other factors relating to health. Epidemiology studies can include diseases, environmental exposures, and injuries in populations or regions. Epidemiologists frequently work with other scientists on complex problems of exposure and remediation.
